KBAR'S Jupiter

Huacaya Herdsire (Male) Medium Silver Grey

AOA# 35453574 DOB: 7/29/20188 yrs
Jupiter has been one of our top grey producing males. As of August 2025 13 out of 20 of his crias were greys, only 6 of those dams were grey! He is even on 10 of each sex. We are glad we didn't give up on Jupiter at the beginning as his first cria was a dark brown male, Buffalo, the dam was our grey girl Serenity. Second cria was a great surprise, he bred brown Tiny Treasure, (whose mom usually only produced various shade of brown) and they criated the gorgeous Mercury. We really like ...

KBAR'S Tiny Treasure

Huacaya Female Dark Brown

December 2018
Tiny Treasure is everyone's favourite alpaca, especially our granddaughters favourite. Tiny was only 13 lbs. when she was born which isn't terribly small but it was the smallest cria we had ever had up till then. She was full term and full of energy and raring to go. For the first three months of her life she thought she was a dog, she would come running to the gate whenever she saw us and she wagged her tail. (We don't have any dogs on our farm so she wasn't copying anything she saw) ...

Details
Thunder was born during a short summer thunder storm, his grandfather Ka-Boom! was born outside during a terrible thunder storm, sometimes there is a theme to names. Thunder is easy going, can be pretty friendly if treats are around.

Thunder is a bit on the smaller size than most of our males but he is still growing and he has no problem defending himself in wrestling matches, he is small but mighty. His dam, Tiny Treasure comes from a line that they are all a bit smaller than most of our herd.

He has crimpy dark brown fibre, with shine and fineness. His sire is Jupiter our top grey breeding male, 13 out of 20 crias have been grey. Thunder's dam is Tiny Treasure who is dark brown from two white parents, (she is the only cria in 11 years that does not have a grey sire) but has produced silver grey twice out of five breeding's.

Genetic Potential: For more than 11 years, all of our breeding males—except one—have been grey. As a result, every alpaca we offer for sale carries genetics capable of producing grey crias when paired with a grey mate.

Thunder must be sold to a farm that has another male the same age he is not ready to be in with the older breeding males.

We could create a package deal to include Thunder, Leroy Brown, Emanon, and Arche who are all the same age and friends.

Thunder will be ready to begin his breeding career in Spring 2026
