Shadow had her first cria in 2011, a black female. She is a very attentive mom, with lots of milk, Leggecy doubled her birth weight within one month.
Shadow is a beautiful medium silver grey. Her fleece has a soft handle, density and is very uniform. She has done well at the fibre shows in 2011, winning 1st and 2nd place ribbons.
Shadow was the Reserve Champion at the 2009 Alpaca Canada Futurity . Shadow won 2nd Place (92.5 out of 100) in the Mary-Ann English Spin-off Competition at the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show, 2012. A couple of comments from the spinner, 'Makes a bouncy, beautiful coloured yarn. Good lock structure, crimpy.' Shadow won 1st Place (92.5 out of 100) in the Mary-Ann English Spin-off Competition at the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show, 2013, her fibre is very consistent a year later.
