Serenity has super fine fiber. The 2025 EPDs have her ranked top 5% 980 of 56478 for fineness (AFD), Top 10% 4706 of 56478 for uniformity (SD) and Top 5% 628 of 56478 for comfort factor (%F>30). If you're looking to add fineness to your herd this girl will do that for you.
Serenity is the daughter of our top grey producing female, Sarasota who is a medium fawn. Sarasota has criated 12 crias and 10 of them have been greys! Every male who bred her was also grey. Sarasota had her final cria, a rose grey female, Ginger at the age of 18! Serenity's sire, Reflection is a medium silver grey who produced 6 crias for us, 3 were greys - but not one of the dams was grey.
Serenity is carrying on with the grey genetics. Her first two breeding's were to Prince and they did not disappoint.
Their first breeding - a beautiful, fine crimped silver grey female - named Harmony.
Their second breeding was another beautiful girl, but with a blend of rose grey and silver grey that we have only seen once before and that was Prince's brother, Super Grover. Her name is Paisley and she is now one of our foundation females.
Cria #3 for Serenity was sired by Prince's son, Jupiter who is a dark silver grey. This pairing produced a large chocolate brown male named Buffalo, not what we were expecting but beautiful crimpy fibre, shine.
Another surprise from Serenity and Jupiter a beautiful light fawn male, Arche. He has loads of crimpy fibre and he has great density, but not the right colour so he too is available for sale.
Serenity is not due to have a cria in 2026 so she can be bred mid-May for a 2027 cria. Serenity would be a great addition to any herd but especially if breeding for grey.
Genetic Potential: For more than 11 years, all of our breeding males—except one—have been grey. As a result, every alpaca we offer for sale carries genetics capable of producing grey crias when paired with a grey mate.
